So, who’s ready to name some flowers and become a part of the creative process for the world of Kraylos? Well, if that’s you, then today is the day! I’ve been cutting out select flowers from Shaid’s first book and posting them to our Instagram and I started calling my favorite the “starfire dahlia” (see the pic below). I ended up with 18 individual flowers (still need to get 12 of those on Instagram) so I need 17 more names.
That’s where you come in! I’ll post a new flower every day so folks to pitch out some names here, on the Twitter account, and at our Facebook account. If we have several candidates, I’ll follow up the post with a vote for favorites. Once we land on a winner, that will become the official name of the flower for all Kraylos publications and products. If you’ve been thinking about poking a few folks to see Shaid’s art, this can be a fun time to get them involved.
A few rules and such: (1) this is a children’s book, so please keep things kid-friendly, (2) please avoid trademark names since the name might be used in a future book or other work, (3) the winning name can be attributed to the owner in future works if desired or Paw Paw Rabbit Productions can assume ownership, (4) Paw Paw Rabbit Productions won’t pay ongoing royalties or commissions on the winning name.
Please note I am planning to post every flower in its original resolution as an NFT on OpenSea for auction. In the event any NFT actually sells, Paw Paw Rabbit Productions will commit 10% of the proceeds to any charity of choice by the naming individual in keeping with our desire to support non-profits working with inmates and victims of crime.
